Participation in the Elumelu Professionals Program (EPP) provided me with a wealth of new experiences and know ledge, particularly around the business climate in Nigeria. The experience has proven integral to my current work at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as well as my prior work at Kaiser EDP in South Africa and at the African Development Bank (AfDB)in Côted’Ivoire. At the AfDB, I worked on the Boost Africa project to set up a 250M euro investment fund to support entrepreneurs in Africa, and I called upon my knowledge of competitiveness to better understand the risks involved in this project. I credit my experience in Lagos under the Foundation’s tutelage with why I am still here in Africa 3 years later, working at Boston Consulting Group in Johannesburg on projects across the region. I am proud to be a member of the TEF family.
