“The TEF Entrepreneurship Programme’s Enterprise Toolkit has helped me in a number of ways. It introduced the concept of problem-centric entrepreneurship, which is quite different from my initial approach. Secondly, it has introduced me to the business model canvas which enabled me to articulate my value proposition, identify my customer segments and channels through which to reach them, and figure out my key partners, my business’s revenue streams and inherent costs. Thirdly, it has helped me to come up with a viable business model and develop a confidence and compelling pitch which ultimately helped me raise more funds later on. Fourthly, the Mentoring and Learning Platform has helped me to interact with peers from all over the continent. The seed capital has enabled me to cover the most important initial start-up costs, to expand my production facility, lease additional patch of land, strengthen my team and track the social impact of my company’s activities
