Meet the Facilitators

Franck Gérard KOM

General Manager Enterprise Business Unit, MTN Cameroon

Franck Gérard is presently General Manager in charge of Enterprise Business Unit for MTN Cameroon, the leading telecommunications operator in Cameroon.

Before his current role, Franck held several functions in MTN, starting from Value Added Services technical support, and moving on to Project Manager and Program Manager in IT. He then moved to Customer Experience where he was in charge of Digital and Premium Customers Channels, and subsequently General Manager of Customer Services. Franck also has sound experience in Oil & Gas and Public sectors.

During this journey, Franck has developed passion for project management, from being part of the first Project Management Institute (PMI) examination held in Cameroon, to co-founding the PMI Chapter in Cameroon and being certified CAPM, PMP and PMI-RMP. Part of his various volunteering roles include PMI Cameroon Chapter President, Regional Africa Conference Committee member, Chairman of PMI Cameroon Advisory Board, and member of Youth Advisory group for PMI Africa.

 

Moses Adoko, Ph.D.
NASA Deputy Chief Knowledge Officer, Office of the Chief Engineer

Dr. Moses Adoko is currently the NASA Deputy Chief Knowledge Officer. In this capacity, he supports the NASA Chief Engineer and the Agency Chief Knowledge Officer (CKO) in ensuring that the agency’s technical workforce and practitioners have access to critical technical knowledge to increase the likelihood of mission success. He leads various programs and activities designed to facilitate implementation of NASA’s knowledge management vision and strategy.

Dr. Adoko also served as technical programs manager between 2012 – 2015. In this capacity, he managed the formulation and implementation of technical capability development strategies for the NASA Goddard science, engineering, project management and safety and mission assurance workforce. While working with the NASA Headquarters Office of the Chief Engineer in Washington D.C, he led the development and implementation of the agency’s project management and systems engineering curricula for the NASA Academy of Program Project and Engineering Leadership (APPEL). He has also conducted multiple workshop sessions of the NASA Academy, including Foundations of Aerospace at NASA, Project Management and Systems Engineering (PMSE) offerings, among other programs.
