TOE HOSTS CINDY MCCAIN, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE WORLD FOOD PROGRAMME (WFP)

The next stop for the 2024 #TEFImpact tour is Britain’s largest metropolis, London City. Here, Tony O. Elumelu CFR, Founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation, the leading philanthropy empowering young African entrepreneurs from across all 54 African countries, will host Cindy McCain, Executive Director, World Food Programme at an intimate cocktail session with key UK stakeholders in the development sector in attendance.

At this intimate gathering, the teams from the World Food Programme and the Tony Elumelu Foundation will highlight the role that entrepreneurial activity can play in fostering economic growth and stability, with the goal of initiating partnerships and driving commitments towards supporting young people across Africa, scaling the work of both organisations.

This event will convene private sector leaders, policymakers, and development agency heads to foster dialogue, and develop actionable strategies to unlock the full potential of young entrepreneurs, especially women, refugees, and young people living in fragile contexts on the African continent.
