Kuda is the Executive Director for Anaya Honey, a honey marketing company operating in Zimbabwe. Rural-based women are not fully participating in the economically lucrative and fast growing honey value chain – valued at USD $8Billion. This is negatively impacting a potential source of revenue to improve livelihoods. Anaya Honey, creates sustainable honey markets, encourages and supports over 200 female beekeepers, and growing. We have managed to reach out to over 600 urban consumers, using direct delivery to consumer model, a number which is fast growing due to innovation of honey value added products thereby creating an increasing demand.
